JSDD Foundation was established in April 2018 as JSDD was beginning to collect pledges received for the Capital Campaign initiated by JSDD to purchase the property located at 310 Eisenhower Parkway, Livingston and build a permanent home for the agency administrative offices and WAE Center day habilitation program.
Capital Campaign fundraising efforts were successful with most of the pledges received prior to and during the construction phase of the project.
As part of the Capital Campaign fundraising effort, an additional $1.5 million was including into the Campaign’s goal to serve as an initial investment in the establishment of an Endowment Fund intended specifically to benefit the programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities offered by JSDD.
With the successful completion of the building and Capital Campaign in 2021, and Endowment Campaign has continued, and funds raised through Legacy Giving continue to be invested in building an Endowment to secure the future of JSDD.
